You will have to contact mitsubishi for this code as each security code is set at the factory.

Eclipse radios are set up so the first cd inserted in the cd is used to unlock the radio if power is ever disconnected or the radio is stolen. You are going to have to call eclipse and see if they will unlock the radio for you. If the radio has been reported stolen, chances are they will not help you. You should be able to contact them at their website. If you can get the radio out of the dash, there is a phone number for eclipse on the chassis also.

I need a radio code for a 2001 mitsubishi mirage

In the USA anyone can get their radio code for free direct from Mitsubishi by telephone. You will need the following information:
Last 8 characters of your VIN # Radio Serial Number
Call Mitsubishi:
1-888-648-7820, option 1, option 4 Current hours: 6am to 5pm Pacific, M-F.
Tell representative that you replaced your battery and now need your radio code. If you are not currently a registered owner, they will ask for your info for registration.
==============================================
If not in the USA then sorry....Main Dealer or Radio Decoding Service only for this code
It will not be available for free or cheap from anywhere on the Internet

Hi i have a 2001 Mitsibushi Eclipse. The battery died and i do not hvave the code needed to unlock it. Can you help?

If you take it to the Mitsubishi dealer they should be able to get you the code. But you should be ready with your id and some type of way to prove you own the vehicle. My cousin had the same problem and they were able to help they did charge him but your radio will work again.

Im trying to find a radio unlock code for my 2000 eclipse gt

radio-code.com and enter the information there. you have to pay but if you really need it, it works. or you can look in the owners manual under radio and look to see if there is a code in there, if not call your local dealer and they can type the vin of you car and see what the code is or the serial number on the radio.

Need 1998 montero sport radio reset code

GETTING THE RADIO SERIAL NUMBER: <BR>
2000 - Carefully take the front panel off that surrounds the radio and temperature buttons, it will snap straight out. Wiggle the radio out about two inches, it is a tight fit. Get the serial number off the radio. It is on a sticker on the top, left side. Call a Mitsubishi dealer with the serial number. They will want proof of ownership, so have the title ready. After putting in the four digit serial number, hit the cd button and that enters it.The code is also written on an antitheft card that comes with the car and may be written in the owners manual in one of the back pages.
<BR> 1999 - Carefully remove the cup holder by pulling it out, then you will see the sticker with the radio serial number.
<BR> Other Years - I don't know an easy way to get the radio serial number, find a radio install savy person and ask them to help you. My dealership said they would do it for me and charge me for 30-60 mins worth of labor.. (At $75/hour) <BR> <BR>
RADIO SAYS "OFF" OR "LOCK": <BR>
Leave the "off" display on for 1 hour uninterupted, then it will automatically reset back to UNLOCK CODE.
<BR> When you turn it back on again after that time has passed it will ask for "code". <BR> <BR>
RADIO SAYS "UNLOCK CODE:" <BR>
Call your local MItsubishi dealership and ask for the service department.
<BR>They have a computer program where they punch in the serial number from your radio (you have to supply the number) and it will tell them the UNLOCK CODE for your radio. My dealership offered to give it to me free over the phone, if I knew my radio serial number. Enter the code using the buttons on your radio. And write the code down, this will show up everytime your radio looses connection to its power source - the car battery.
