Try this quick fix : Get a screw driver and trace the screw holding the CD/DVD Drive to your system at the back of your laptop, then unscrew it and remove your drive. If you cant do this by yourself, just try and get a good technician to do it for you. Then clean the interface connecting the drive to your laptop. After this, power up your system normally without the drive connected. Then shut down properly, and reconnect the drive, making sure that its firmly connected. Then power on again and check it in the system BIOS if its now detected, then save and exit, then boot your system properly again. If it doesn't work after this, then I'm afraid you might have to get another drive. Hope this helps you out. Goodluck!
if when you push the button its led flash but not opening, turn off your computer and open its door by a needle enter and push it in the ole in center of its panel under the door. whon the door open a little use your hand and open it.
if the this not solve the problem there is a hardware problem :(
But if the drive dosent work at all (even the led light) maybe it's the power, then open th case left door and check th power cable...
