Question about Washing Machines
My approximately 15 year old top load GE washer will fill with water but it won't do anything else. It does not make the clicking noise for it to go over to the next part of the cycle either. Does anyone have any ideas of what this could be or a ballpark of how much it could run me to repair, or even if it is worth it to repair rather than purchasing a new machine? Thanks
Sounds to me like its just a lid switch issue. The washer needs to know that the lid is shut beforeit will advance. A model # would help. Its a basic fix and shouldnt be too expensive. Certinly chepaer than a new one. Hope that helps. Dave www.washermd.com

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
