I try to software update for 787C2IX model combo gps and fishfinder but when writing abort software update to version ..... am not press no im press yes buton and equipment go on.... now only writing loading but not open how i can reset this equipment and fixing ... how can i fix this problem ... Please advise

This model has two versions, one with the GPS as an external piece, and one with the GPS mounted internally. If the location of the internal mounted GPS cannot get a clear shot at the satellites overhead, it will tell you it cannot get a GPS fix. If it says it is disconnected, you may have a problem with the internal GPS. There are external GPS pucks available for this unit. Here is a helpful website.

Hi, no good news I'm sorry. It's a fish finder not a combo fish finder/gps so you are unable to enter co-ordinates. Sorry Phil.

Hi there, try to reinstall the software in this way, uninstall te software, reboot the computer and then reinstall the software and try again :O)

Here is a product manual:
787C2 it will tell you how.
You will need a blank sd card inserted into the card reader slot in order to take it to your computer, or you can save it to the internal memory as well.
See page 42 in the manual for step by step instructions.

pressing the "SNDR" button activates the sounder press"ALARM" tyo acces alarm menu, turn them on or off there, look "NEXT PAGE" for alarm 2 847-746-0100

First write down the software version of your GPS. Depending on the model, it will appear in the message that appears at start up.

Then look up your model GPS on the manufacturer's website. On the web page for your model, there should be a link to a software update page which will show you the latest updates available for your model.

Download the update from the manufacturer.

Don't buy - go to Eagle web site and download it.
