Your "forever" LiFi lamp has gone out. Done three of these this month. Panasonic is extending the warranty on these lamps to 5 years for the part and 2 years for the labor - better call panasonic quick.

Sounds like a cable issue. If you're using RCA then maybe your Yellow cord is not plugged in properly or at all. If it's HDMI then the cords faulty possibly! Good luck

My friend has a WD-65731 Mitsubishi; a week ago the image wouldn't come , so he unplugged the power cord, plugged it back and the image came. But, he wasn't able to turn it off from the remote any longer,...

try this wait until the blinking stops and then press the button. if still not working replace the lamp and lamp ballast. before changing lamp make sure you clean the dust out using a compressed air.also clean the small fan over the lamp ballast.

Green light flashes for about a minute, fan does not turn on and there is no picture or sound.

unplug all cords and cables from tv, then unplug tv, wait about 5 min, plug tv back in this resets, the "brain" if samething ....see if your bulb is glowing, or tv is hot to touch...always clean the breather slots or holes so fan can push or pull cool air..most of these tvs have a auto shut off for safety if fan has faulted out.....you might just have a DONE fan unit.

Panasonic PT-50DL54; turns on and then in 5-10 seconds turns off. Replaced bulb, no help. Cleaned it out, no help. Any ideas?

It does sound like a heat related issue. What did you clean? I removed the back panel. Use compressed air to blow out all the dust from the components inside. Do not blow into the fan on the right.
I also replaced the batteries on the remote with new Alkaline batteries. Do not use rechargeable. Weak batteries can cause the remote to send POWER OFF command to the set.

No picture or sound?? status light flashes in four blinking intervals. I was told it could possibly be the lamp it has never been replaced.

The STANDBY light will flash if an issue is detected within the television. This can sometimes be resolved by simply following the steps below to reset the television.
  1. Turn off the television.IMPORTANT: For a projection television that uses an internal lamp, wait 5 minutes after turning off the television to allow the lamp to cool before continuing with the following steps.
  2. Unplug the television power cord from the electrical outlet.
  3. Let the television remain without power for 60 seconds.
  4. Plug the power cord back into the electrical outlet.NOTE: If the television is plugged into a power strip or surge protector, remove it from the power strip or surge protector and plug it directly into the wall outlet. If the issue is resolved, the problem is with the power strip or surge protector and not the television.
  5. Turn on the television.

4 red blinks indicates a fan error. usually blowing duster inside the fan blades will cure this. there are 4 fans inside this tv. looking from the back of the tv, the large fan on the left side is usually the culprit...good luck to ya
