With the power turned off it is usually a case of, in most ovens, just removing the element by unscrewing two screws. Unclip the wiring and make a note of what wires go where. Find a new one and install in reverse procedure.

Bosch single wall ovens where is the thermal fuse located

Hi!

The location of the thermal fuse in a Bosch single wall oven may vary depending on the model, but it is typically located on the back of the oven.

To locate the thermal fuse, follow these steps:
  1. Turn off power to the oven: Before attempting any repairs, turn off the power to the oven by unplugging it or turning off the circuit breaker that supplies power to the oven.
  2. Remove the back panel: Locate the screws or bolts that hold the back panel of the oven in place and remove them using a screwdriver or socket wrench. Carefully remove the back panel to access the components inside the oven.
  3. Locate the thermal fuse: Look for a small, rectangular device with two wires attached to it. This is the thermal fuse. It may be located near the top or bottom of the back of the oven, depending on the model.
  4. Check the thermal fuse for continuity: Use a multimeter to check the continuity of the thermal fuse. Set the multimeter to the ohms setting and touch the probes to the two terminals of the thermal fuse. If the multimeter shows no continuity, the thermal fuse has blown and needs to be replaced.
  5. Replace the thermal fuse: If the thermal fuse has blown, replace it with a new one of the same rating. Install the new fuse in the same location as the old one and reattach the back panel of the oven.
  6. Test the oven: After replacing the thermal fuse and reassembling the oven, turn on power to the oven and test it to ensure that it is working properly.
If you are not comfortable working with electrical components or if you are unable to locate the thermal fuse in your Bosch single wall oven, it's recommended to seek the assistance of a qualified technician.

I find oven pride the best one on the market, there is a box set which has a big bag to put shelves etc in to deep clean the parts etc, then the rest of the cleaner is for the internal areas of the oven...

Bosch wall oven turns on when mcrowave is on

Contact Bosch website and ask customer services if they have had this problem before. It may be subject to recall if there is a fault. Also have a word with the installer. If there is any leakage of radiation it MUST be stopped.

After doing a self clean, the panel now flashes locked

thermal protector has caused lockout. happens w/ self clean a lot. it's a small thermostat device most likely on the rear of the oven. oven need to be pulled from wall to check/replace. you may have to open door w/a coat hanger if it's locked to get the door open to allow access to screws to allow removal of oven from wall if it's a built in. unplug it before doing anything. fuse is under back cover size of a bottle cap, 2 wires, should be "closed" normally. replace or spray w/freon to "reset" it.
