Note that ECS does manufacture variants of their boards for systems "manufacturers" (e.g., Acer), with different colored ports/slots, or slightly different layouts. In my experience, however, the chipsets and drivers work fine, even if the board doesn't look exactly the retail version in the picture.
Left click on the start button and right click on My Computer.

You should have at least one device that says unknown..
If so, you will need to locate and install the correct sound drivers.
If the sound card came with your PC and it is a name brand like IBM or Dell, you should be able to find the drivers on their web site.
u need driver for ur a sound card to work if ur sound card is embedded in ur mother board then u have installation cd from ur mother board vendor install it or if ur sound card is external type then u need to look out for the driver from cd with ur sound card or just type ur brand of sound card and google it u will get ur driver for the windows u are using vista or XP , if u have XP then u can simply download SP3 and i think it contains all updates of sound cards and devices so it will work then other wise try the procedure described earlier tell me if it helps
Right click My Computer Click Manage Click Device Manager Make a note of any devices that appear with a warning symbol and look them up on google. All drivers must be installed after a re-install of Windows for the computer to work correctly.
i'm guessing u don't have the software for these drivers, for that you can log onto your motherboard and/or devices' site and download the driver software, or you can log onto http://www.download.com to download drivers' software if u can't find them on their site or can't find their site.
