Question about Kenmore Freezers
I have a Kenmore deep freeze out in my garage. It is approximately 14-15 cu ft. I noticed this morning when I went to get something out of it that it seemed like it was not as cold as it always is. I seem to recall the same type of thing about this time last year. My garage is not heated and the temperature usually stays pretty close to outside temp which in Illinois in the winter can be very cold and fluctuate alot. Is my freezer problem related to the outside temp or do I need someone to come look at it?
A freezer is just a heat pump . from inside the freezer to the garage . the first law of thermodynamics says heat travels from a hotter to a colder surface . it could just be the cold how much are we talking?
