Question about JVC TH-M505 System

Sound from one speaker but not the other

I have a JVC stereo system #CA-MXC7TN/CA-MXC9S and recently one of my speakers stopped working but the other one works perfectly fine. It is not the speaker since I have tried switching them and they both work well. Has anyone ever encountered this problem and if so what to do? Thanks

Try one small test - Plug in your Stereo Headphones - do both channels work? If yes, then problem is in Headphone jack. If No, then, Nothing you can do, unless you know Solid State electronics Servicing. Definitely looks like a defective Output Amplifier IC . Have it checked professionally.

I would like to use my jvc home theater while watching tv. But i have no idea how or what wires to use to make this work.

You will need a 2RCA to 2RCA audio cable as shown below. Connect the audio out socket of your TV to the Aux or TV/SAT input of the JVC. When you want to hear the TV sound through the JVC system just select the appropriate input on the JVC. If you want the surround speakers to work, select ProLogic or All channel stereo on the JVC's surround settings.Because by default the radio or TV sound is only stereo, so only the front left and right speakers will work. PLII will convert 2 channel to 5.1.

I have a fisher ca-9335 integrated stereo amplifier thats hooked up to sanyo tp 1010 turn table and plays out of yamaha ns-70t speakers. a simple jvc cd player is also hooked up to the speakers but not to...

Something doesn't add up. You mention two connections to the speakers - CA-9335 and a "simple jvc cd player". Is that true? If so, you might want to UNconnect the CD from the speakers and run it into the receiver where it belongs. An amp isn't designed to share the load with another live device; or even have electrical contact with anything BUT speakers.

Did you actually find documentation that supports this hook-up? Or just winging it?

Hi i have a older jvc stereo and i have klh audio system model 9706 satellite and i do not know how to do the wiring i can get three spks workig but thats it can u help me do the wireing my jvc has 4 spk...

You can use 4 speakers. Connect 2 speakers to the A system of the JVC and the other 2 to the B system. Then select in JVC the A+B speakers position. As your receiver is stereo, this is the way you could best distribute the sound. However, if you have only 3 speakers, it would be dangerous to try wiring the third one without changing the whole impedance. So you may use 2 speakers.

Only getting very low sound on front speakers on my jvc th-s51 system

if you are only getting the front speakers, you are hooked up in stereo mode. Are you using red white and yellow cables? Is the source in stereo? Try a digital coax cable.

My jvc mx-d622t shelf stereo simply stopped working. No power at all , Course I do have 6 speakers hooked up to it, just added the third pair the day before it stopped working.

Are these speakers compatible or are you just adding speakers because you have them hanging around?

If you have effectively less than 6 ohms of impedance on any channel you may run into problems and the unit may either die or protect itself by refusing to stay ON.

It's fairly obvious that if you do X and undesired Y happens you might want to UNdo X and rethink it.
