Hello my fax machine keeps giving me error codes how do I fix this, I need my fax machine. thank you

Hit the setup button, select fax setup or setup fax, and make sure the option to "Junk" fax blocker is off. The default when you setup the machine itself is on yes. This helped me with my "error 410" message I received when printing fax log.

Accidentally set the pulse/tone dialing feature to pulse for a Ricoh 4430L. How do I change it ?

Option setting within "Setup" menu (need access code of 2222) allows you to see advanced features not normally viewed after installation of fax machine is completed. Within these advanced features is a parameter to choose analog line setting of either tone or pulse.

When i press hook to receice a fax the message continues to read

Check that the tel line cable is connected to the correct hole in the nachine. It may have been moved. It should be in the one marked 'L' or 'LINE'. Use another fax lead to see if the lead is faulty. Otherwise you may have a faulty LJU board which requires replacement and will cost more if not on warranty, than the machine is worth.
