Hooking up external speakers to Sansui HDLCDVD320

You may need to configure your TV to transmit audio through the digital out, instead of the built in speakers.

LG 60PK550 only outputs the audio via the optical out port on the back of the TV the HDMI ports don't have arc capabilities

Change the resolution in the computer so that it will work with your Sansui

you will need to buy a surround sound receiver. the new tv's do not have an external speaker jacks on them. you might also try a old stereo receiver hooked up to the tv's audio out jacks

Help with hooking PS3 to a Denon Receiver. It worked before, but I had to move everything to a different location and when I hooked it back up the PS3 has sound but no picture. I have it hooked directly to the receiver with and HDMI cable (the receiver is hooked up to our cable box which is directly hooked to the tv via HDMI cable).

Get some audio cables from radio shack or gamestop and use the regular audio jacks on the xbox to connect to your receiver.  Your video will be HD, but your audio won't.

In the end I biwired the speakers and that's worked fine.

Try plugging and unplugging a pair of headphones. The headphone jack in these receivers are flaky and sometimes think there are headphones hooked up even when there isn't. Full repair would require the headphone jack to be replaced. If you don't use headphones at all, you can take the top cover off and unplug the cable going to the headphone jack board and eliminate the problem that was as well.
