If the water is not draining after spin, check out let hose and pump for possible blockage or restriction.

If you have filter , check that also.
Plz rate my solution.
Thanks.

We just emptied out the connecting hose from the drum to the filter and found a washcloth and other padding that was black from mildew (explains the smell!) and that we had been missing for over a year. This was a very inexpensive fix (free because we did ourselves), and fairly easy to do ourselves. Be prepared w/ towels and short buckets to catch the water!!!!

Frigidaire GLTF2940FS...does not do a final spin/clothes wet

If water remains in the drum the unit will not go into the final spin. There may be a couple of reasons for your problem.
1.) A coin or other foreign object is blocking the drain hose. Check the drain hose for foreign objects impeding the exit of the water.
2.) The Drain hose is not raised above the machine outlet to create a siphon effect. See your manual for proper hose positioning.
3.) The pump is a third possibility which you should hear the impeller spinning during the drain cycle. There is a coin catch after the diaphragm of the pump that looks like a rubber boot that should be inspected for objects if you remove the pump. I believe the pump is about $60.00 and is accessible after removing the front panel under the door.

Ill try,
first off its normal for water to spray in during the final spin( its a spray rinse), as far as the water coming back into your machine after the final spin stops, you have an issue with oyour drain, i would assume that the drain hose is NOT going into a stand pipe"open drain", but instead clamped to another hose leading outside or to a drywell, in which case youll need to install a "one way check valve". whats happening is after the final spin is done al;l the waterin the drain line is reurning back formn the drain hose.Proper insstallation will cure this.
lastly its hard to describe"slower than usual spin" it will progressivly spin faster as moire water is removed form the machine, i wqould rectify the drain issue before i concern my self with this( and make sure you not selecting a :gentle spin" option of coarse... hope this is helpful to you!

Clothes still wet after final spin

Possible timer or drain problems.. ok.. when your washer is in rise.. before it goes into final spin.. it stop agitating, then drain water for about a minute or two.. listen to see if stop drain for a sec, then began to spin... when it come to draining.. make sure that you hear all the water flow out of your washer.. sometimes when you have a slow drain.. that can do it too.. but the first possible is likely.. good luck

On final spin water not draining out

If the motor and drum are going round, then you probably have a blocked pump.
Check outflow of water from m/c, check filter if you have one. m/c will not spin if a lot of water in.

If still no spin then problem could be any one of a number of things.
Plz rate my solution.
Thanks.

Final spin cycle

Lots of possibilities to check out before considering a problem with the machine: Is the load unsorted, too big or off balance? Drain restricted or too high? Oversudsed? Water draining completely out before going into spin?

Washer will not Spin during SPIN CYCLES

Check your exit hose spigot, it may be clogged. This is if your filter is all clean. (consult your manual to know where/how filter is cleaned). There should be air for passage in the standpipe behind. Your hose should not fit airtight into the standpipe and neither too deep into it. Snaking out your standpipe would be good too.

Rate me pl.....if helped.

Rinse water fills the washing machine when the spin cycle starts

Check your outlet filter, most likely it is blocked, preventing the water from draining out. Chk your pump too. Before this disconnect from the wall socket; and also check the pipe coming from the tub to the filter. Siphon out the excess water from inside the machine before you open the pipes.
