    youlooklikea, I have a problem with a Powerware 9120 displaying Batt Disconnected. They are in fact new batteries that were installed a week ago. The unit was placed back into service and appeared to be working fine. It took a week to shutdown again on Batt Disconnected. I have checked the set up on the unit to find it is in free run mode, however the only parameter that does not apper corrdct is the Bypass Go which is set to ON and I cant get it to OFF?. I have checked the 2 x hrc fuses inside the unit and they appear ok however the unit will not powerup and ppppppppppppppppppppppp appears across the screen following switch on. The charger ouput voltage is at 265 volts the battery is at 127 volts.

a relay is jammed?? fused shut or bad switching silicon

replace the controller board

instead get a new one too many things to resolve
if your batteries burn out the inverter then its some timing issue
not worth it to repair the board
replace the whole control or new one!!! and reuse the cells {ebay}

Safety fuse trips in my 75VA control transformer

Yes, the contactor OR the wiring to it could have a problem. The transient suppression diode that might be associated with the contactor driver could also be shorted.

An ohmmeter is your friend in troubleshooting this.
