Try unhooking the battery from your car for an hour or so, if youre really feeling springy take the deck out and disconnect the power from there. if that doesnt work, call alpine ha. they may send you a brand new deck.

What is the mx mean on radio and how do i go into this function

Here's a great explanation of the mx feature from a review of the alpine decks... "Media Xpander (MX) is a great feature. If you listen to lots of MP3s, you know the quality on some can leave a bit to be desired. Media Xpander helps compensate by adding bass and tone to your files. And you can control the level of ‘help’ you want (from 1-3, mine sits at 2 except for the worst discs). Even my worst bootlegs come out sounding pretty decent – and you can use it on both CDs and FM radio." hope that helps you put it to good use!

My Dual XDM7510 display quit working and I can't find out what is wrong. Everything else on the XDM7510 works. Help me please. It was working when I went in the store came back out and no display.

try checking the illumination light on the back of the radio if that doesnt work then try looking at the red ignitionswitch wire and make sure it is connected to the 12vt constant (the yellow wire)

Will turn on but wont play cds or radio

Sounds like the constant and accessory wires (red and yellow) are wired the wrong way. Test the wire that is connected to the yellow wire with a test light, and if the light doesn't light up with the car turned off you have the wires mixed up.

check for power on both the red and yellow wires with the key on. If both have power either the radio needs a reset or the radio is defective..
