Re: Turning off flash

Here is the link for the user manual if you need it;§iontype=Support towards the bottom left of page 2 is all the info you need i think. If for any reason this doesn't work then post again for a fix, in emergency you can stick a few pieces of black pvc electrical tape over the flash - any glue left afterwards will come off with cotton wool and a little cleaning alcohol/rubbing alcohol (dont saturate it). Hope this helps :)

Camera taking pink toned pictures

I have the same problem, it is only then there is sunlight. Light from other sources and there is no problem. I changed the meter setting to be center-weight instead of multi-pattern, it works sometimes. When center-weight does not work, I change the setting to be center-spot. I can not save the setting change, so it annoys me to change it every time I turn it on or change from portrait to landscape. I figured a sensor was going bad, so I bought a new camera, but it does not have the view finder, so it bugs me. If you find any solutions, please let me know.

that camera as great problem, they drain batteries very fast, and that what happen as the batteries are getting lower it takes longer to charge the flash system and to take the picture.

Viewing is fine, taking pictures is not

This sounds like what started happening with my camera a few weeks ago. I found that turning the LCD screen off during picture-taking allows me to take pictures. I then have to go into review mode to look at the pictures I took using the LCD screen. Definitely not a great fix. I'm trying to locate a firmware upgrade that may solve it.
