Question about Whirlpool LER4634J Electric Dryer
My whirlpool dryer is working but is not heating up
model# ler 4634j
You might want to check for power at the outlet, you should have 240 to work properly, but you dryer will run on 120 volts but it will not heat

You are going to need a heater element OR a limit kit. A simple continuity check is all that is needed to confirm the failed part. Remove one wire from each component you check so you do not get a backfeed (false reading). Remember to unplug the machine.
If it turns out the clixons are all good and the heater is fine then the timer will probably be the culprit.
