Hi
The Maximum Supported Ram that you can Install in the Machine is 1536MB (or 1 x 1GB Stick & 1 x 1 512MB Sticks of Ram, if you have 2 Ram Slots that is).
On the bottom of the laptop you should see 4-5 Screws that hold in place a Shaped Plastic Panel (Not the whole of the casing on the bottom, just a section.) You take that off to access the Ram Area.

My toshiba l675d-s7013 laptop screen won't come on?

hi

turn off your laptop take out the battery and hold the power button for 20-60 secs to discharge it and then put the battery back in and reboot or remove the battery and the ram clean the ram or try another stick of ram then press the power button and see if that restores your laptop.

if not plug another monitor into the external vga port, if the external monitor works then your laptop screen is faulty.

if the external monitor is also black or blank then the inverter inside the laptop needs to be checked or replaced.

cheers

My toshiba l 305 will not turn on.. in fact, the led light that indicates that it is charging will not come on either.. I read a blog of someone with the same problem... they removed the ram and batter......

you will find the ram if you put your laptop upside down. you will see several screws. the ram case it's bigger than the other and it usually in a central positiion.
handle with care. if it doesn't work send it to warranty if you still have some. if it's not from the ram it could be a serious hardware problem.
hope this helps.
