I am having problems printing picures with my HP Photosmart 8750 printer. It just started doing it. I have had the printer for about 4 years. The picture starts off printing great and then at the end (right side if landscape and bottom side if portrait). It starts to squish the images at the end. Can you help me with this problem?

Easiest thing you can do to use old ink cartridges:
Move your system Date back to one year before the
Expiration Date(s) before clicking on [PRINT]
(Don't forget to reset the time back after your printing
is finished.)
If you need to print the same job multiple times, set
the date back, print to a File (instead of directly to the
printer), reset the date back and use CopyTo Printer
software to send the file(s) to your printer.
Yes! it is possible to repair this fault economically. Usually you could have it replaced with a fairly used one if you don't want replace with a new one.
no sensor but what you need to do is to go into the properties of the printer in the printer icon in the control panel. In there will be a way to put the printer thru a realignment and once that is done the print should come out properly.
You need to check the encoder strip, the clear plastic behind the carriage, ink or grease will stop it from reading and give that error. Also ink buildup on the clean station will slow it's travel.
Hold the power cord in your hand next to the wall outlet and open the service door.
When you here the clicking noise, that is the release for the tray arm.
Pull the power and try to move arm back and fourth. Close the service door and power unit.
Hope this works for you.
Unfortunately, you may have to revert back to SP2. the thing with sp3 is that it can act and work completely different from computer to computer depending on what software you have installed on it and what build of XP you have (ie home/pro) The only other alternative is to uninstall software, reboot and see if the problem persists. this way you may be able to find the program interfering with the performance of your printer.
