ok my friend had this problam all i did was check tha disk port seen it was off a bit i took a screw driver and pushed it in and down we heard a pop now not only do's his 360 now read disc's it also dosent scratch any disk's now eather: oh yeah this is mainly caused by you 360 standing up right every time it accidently falls over it knockes the disk tray lil by lil out of socked
its is a software problem in the system and needs to be updated as the syytem can from time to time become corrupt and will not read game discs best thing is to check the microsoft xbox site for any updates for the software to solve this problem or send in for repair if unable to update
Is your xbox placed horizontally or vertically. If you use it vertically (like in the image) place it horizontally. Unlike what you'd think from most of the images on the interweb, using them vertically does evil, evil things to your discs...
