Question about Dell A940 All-In-One InkJet Printer

Cartridge clip broken

Hi, The cartridge clip for the black cartridge was broken off. In fact the boy also lost it. Just placing the ink cartrdige in it's slot doesn't produce black ink on paper. Red works fine. Any idea how to rig it or buy a new clip. Dell help desk was not very helpful Said we had to buy new printer. Thanks,

I have a Lexmark X125 printer. I just bought new ink cartridges because I ran out of ink. I followed the directions on the printer to install the ink cartridges and the printer keeps flashing the words...

Remove the cartridges and close the lid. Allow the system to try to calibrate and complain. Open the lid. Check the cartridge bottoms to make sure you removed the plastic cover on the jet heads.
Replace the cartridges and make sure they clip. Close the lid to finish.

if this does not solve it. Remove the cartridges and then unplug the unit from the power. hold the power button down for 10 seconds then give 20 seconds more. this will clear all power. Place the new cartridges in and close the lid. power the unit on and test for success

My Epson 1280 will start printing and then all of a sudden it makes a "clunk" noise and stops printing and I get an error message. It seems like its always in the same spot.

This has two ink cartridges 007 and 009. The black sometimes does not seat and lock in por becomes losse. Sometimes the lock in place tab becomes broken. If using Epson brand they have a chip in them that stops it from printing.sometimes and needs a reset progeram from Epson. best guess the cartrdige is loose.!

How do I change my printer to black ink instead of color.? My color cartridge is dry & I can't gbet another right now. the printer is stuck on color so it won't print.

Hi,
Just remove the empty color cartridge and yse your printer with black cartrdige only. Most of the printer like HP will print using the available black cartridge only. Simple
I hope this is useful to you

Black & colour cartridge lights are flashing and error code 2

When the black and color cartridge lights are flashing this means that there is an ink cartridge error. To solve this issue, you need reseat the ink cartrdige. If this does not correct your issue, you will unfortunately need to replace the ink cartridge. Make sure you are not forcing the ink cartridge into the printer as it can damage it.

Printer Toolbox Not Recognizing New Black Ink

The Deskjet 6940 will only show ink level for original HP cartrdgies. Refilled or reman cartridges will show as empty or unknown in the toolbox. This is not an issue with the driver, the cartrdige itself has information that it has been previously used and this is not resettable. You can continue to print with a cartrdige that has unknown ink levels, you will just not get low ink warnings.

Try pushing the opposite way that they say and it should then be in place.
