Question about Toshiba Satellite M100 Notebook
The hard drive light come on for less that 1 second and the lcd sreen remain dark. Is the hard drive defective? What could this be?
Try the following things and try to bring it up after each action:
1) Remove and reinstall your memory module(s)
2) Remove the CD drive, any PCMCIA cards, flash drives, all but 1 memory module and anything else that you might have connected to te system.
3) Remove the hard drive and try to bring the system up. You should get a message that sez something to the effect that the OS can't be found.
Let me know what happens and we'll go from there.
Thanks, and have a good one!
