Does it spin? Or just an agitation issue. Sounds to me like you need a new clutch. The clutch is #5 and costs about 40.00.

Kenmore Heavy Duty Plus Dryer 86273100 drum won't spin

How could the belt be in working order if the drum doesn't spin? Check to see if the belt has come off the motor. If the motor runs but your dryer doesn't spin, the belt is off. If the motor runs with the belt on but it still won't spin then you'll have a lot of black smoke because your drum is jammed. In other words, there are a number of things that could be wrong, but not very many.

Hi, I have a Kenmore 110.26832692, lately it's been making a loud grinding/thumping noise when agitating. The clothes end up wrapped around the agitator, sometimes even stuck underneath it. The basket...

Sounds like maybe the changing of the dogs might be the problem./The top section of your adjatator sould move freely one direction turn it the other way bottom section should move with it. If it does not do that then your dog install got messed up also you should not barely get fingers under botton section of adjatator/ Note the basket is not supposed to move when washing on this unit . see if unit is doing any of those things get back to us...Good luck

My ge washer does not wash, it just spins. Help me fix pls.

if you mean it does not adjatate that would be your adjatater coupler grab adjatater at bottom both sides pull adjatater up it will be hard but it will come. when that comes of you will see adjatater coupler remove bolt in center of it that part will pull up. now to replace that part ge changed it about 2 years ago when you get the new coupler you will need the new bolt. 'GE sells that coupler as a kit comes with the new bolt thats the way to go...if I helped you please vote if you need more help please ask good luck

Washer fails to remove water from clothes after rinse and spin cycles are completed. M/N 110.26732500

'f its a top load put something down in lid switch hole.....Start wash cycle let unit go through cycle by itself Don;t touch timer unit should fill then adjatate then drain then you will here a clunk and unit will spin thats the wash////then unit will fill then adjatate then unit will drain(this is the inportant part ) unit should drain completely before it spins if it is spinning with the water in it your gearcase is getting bad//This condition also put stress on the clutch//if unit is not draining and spinning at the same time but just spinning slowly then you will need a clutch.....Hope this helps if i did help you please vote need more help please ask..........

I have something stuck under the adjatator. How

Hi, depending how old you GE washer is will determine how difficult the agitator will be to remove. However, all GE made ( hotpoint, baycrest, some kenmore, moffat, mcClary, etc. ) washer's of the past 50 yrs. or so have agitator's that are pressed onto a drive block and need to be pulled off, sometime's by hand, sometimes by a greater force, i.e. "agi-tamer" or "hammer". ( of course the hammer method will require you to by a new agitator ). The "agi-tamer is a real tool which slides under the agitator and by way of being pressurized with "cold" water ( hot will burst it ) will push the agitator up off the spline/block...don't stand over it looking down or you'll potentially get "knocked out" ha ha ! Hope that help's. At least you know it does "pull off" and it isn't bolted in place. Good luck, macmarkus :)

Sounds like the transmission is gone the thing you call the spinning mechanism is call the adjatator it should move left to right I can tell you right now to replace the dog ears if it is a kenmore washer they go bad all the time they cost about 5 dollars they are under the cap on top of the adjatator you will need to pull it off to do the job good luck Ron
