Kenmore HE3 Front Load Washer - Leaking Water into wash tub

The subject washer is leaking water into the wash tub after the wash cycle is complete. Noticed some clothes are wet at the end of the wash cyle closest to the bootom of the tub. This morning a big puddle on the floor (as the door usually left open when not in use).

Suspect leaky water valve. Question is it coming from the water pump? How do I fix? I am planning to clean the drain pump in any event as I await your response.
Many thanks in advance!

My front load kenmore washer door gasket is garbelled

Something probably got caught in the seal and pulled it out of place. If u run washer so that it fills up and starts tumbling,,, and there is no water leak,, there is a good chance u can repair this yourself. So if there is no water leaking,,, you can try and take out the bottom front panel and twisting, or shoving it back into place. If there is water leaking,,, than chances are its ripped or broken, and will need to be completely replaced

Kenmore Washer Leak

Check the back of the tub as the water is coming in. Sometimes the water inlet gets knocked out of line if the machine shakes a lot or gets moved.

no thats two different problems. The rubber piece (boot) forms a seal to prevent the water from leaking out, that should be replaced. Water might have leaked and ruined the pump. At the end of all cycles is there still water in the tub? If so your pump is either clogged or has gone bad, and thats why the washer wont go into extract.
