Question about Logitech Quickcam Chat Webcam
I have a really odd problem with Messenger 8.5! When I receive a voice or video call request I hear the ringing sound loud and clear from the speakers. On accepting the call I can't hear the other end but they can hear me. When I go into Audio and Video setup in messenger I can't "play sound" as the volume slider always returns to the lowest setting when I move it up. In otherwords it is being forced to the bottom and hence the volume is at its lowest setting all the while. The microphone works fine (on a Microsoft Live Cam).
There is no problem with the soundcard as I hear ringing, paly music, etc etc.
Any ideas welcomed as it's obviously something daft with messenger going on here!
OK your driver file is corrupted.uninstall cam drivers then redownload new ones.drivers are here>http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/support_downloads/downloads/.Then go to yahoo and download messanger 9.0 for your os.
