Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX7 camera query

Hi Joe Hoping that you can help... I purchased the above camera a few months ago. The other day, i tried to delete a few pictures and it would not process my request. The camera says "This picture cannot be deleted". The camera has a facility where you can protect certain pics from being deleted. I have not protected any pics. I have tried to "unprotect" the pics but this does not help. I am currently using a Silicon power multimedia card tm 512mb and a serial number of sorts 512m0534sp. When I try to multi delete on the camera, it says to me "can't be set on this picture". I have been through the entire user manual and cannot find any solution to this problem. I have also been on the panasonic website and have contacted Panasonic South Africa and they are not familiar with the problem. They suggest i use an SD memory card or a panasonic memory card. I have been to a local photo lab this morning and they helped me overide this on their computer, Upon arriving home, the same problem occurred. Can you help?

I bought a Panasonic Lumix camera model No. DMC-ZS7 from Brzil. It has FNOA001374 as a serial number.
I would like to know that it is original or no?

SD cards have a slide switch along one edge. The position farthest from the contacts locks the card, protecting it from writes. The position nearest the contacts unlocks the card. If the switch is already in the proper position, slide it fully the other way and then back again.

The cheapest thing to do here is just replace the camera, they are not fixed just exchanged by the factory.

Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX7 software download

It's easier to download pictures using card readers. Just insert the SD card in the reader and plug it in you computer. Double click the folder DMIC and you can drag and drop the pictures.
You can buy card readers in any computer store for $5-$10.

It may that your battery has lost its charge, or has leaked? If it won't hold a charge try taking it out wiping it and trying again if that doesn't work you may need a new battery.

Panasonic DMC-FX7

It could be dirt/smudge creating the fuzzy on the left frame. Try having it professionally cleaned, or I am sure there are products you can buy on the market to do it yourself.

eg. a eye glasses cloth.
