There are a few things it could be. Pull the handle back into the vacuuming position and turn the brush bar switch on and off while listening to see if you can hear the brush bar motor turn off and on. If you can hear the brush bar motor running it may need a new belt and/or the brush bar may be seized up.
There is a switch by the main power switch that provides power to run the brush bar motor. There is a micro switch down in the motor area that closes the circuit to the brush bar motor when you pull the handle back. Check electrical connections and all of the above parts to determine which one or one's may be defective.

If you've been running it on carpet then you have fibres wrapped around the axle. cut them off with an x-acto blade and you'll be good. If that's not the problem you may have stripped a plastic gear the motor goes on. If you have other dead r/c cars around you might be able to use a gear from one of them to fix it. Otherwise contact the manufacturer for a replacement gear. Hope this helps!!
