My Dell Dimension 2400 refuses to load Windows XP

Hi,
What happens?Does it hang on the loading page or does it restart itself before loading?
If it hangs on the loading page, press CTRL,ALT and DEL.This boots the system.
If it restarts itself, remove the hard disk and re-fix it again.Problem solved?
Remove the CMOS battery and the hard disk and re-fix them again.Problem solved?
If not,you may have to repair your operating system.
This how you do it:-
  • Remove your hard disk and enslave[fix it as a secondary drive] it on another machine with a good operating system.
  • Start the machine.Accept to run unnix[using two drives]
  • The machine will automatically detect your hard disk's failure on the operating system and repair the damaged files.
  • On completion and after Windows opens, turn off the machine and remove your hard disk.
  • Fix the hard disk now on your machine and start it.
Hope this helps.Thanks!

My computer hang up and restart what should i do?

1. Check the temperature inside the CPU.
Overheating stops the performance of your Motherboard.
Add more fan to help cool down the CPU.
2. If you have digital tester in you... check if the output supply of the power connector is exact 5v and 12v.
If its below, then the supply is unstable, you will need to replace your power supply.
3. If you have back up video card and memory card try to replace the one you are using..one at a time and monitor the performance. To find out if hard ware cause your system to restart.

My acer veriton desktop system hang many times.give me solution.

At what point does the system hang? Does it hang before going into windows - at the Windows Flash Screen? If so:

1. Restart the computer,
2. Press F5 or F10 (right about 2-3 seconds after the computer restarts and does the POST check) to get into SafeMode.
3. Once in SAFEMODE, Go into Control-Panel: System: Device Manager.
4. Go to Display Adapters and remove any extra drivers in there but BE PREPARED to reinstall the video drivers after.

QUICK NOTE
If it is a video problem and u removed the video driver and Windows does not have the driver, you will default to a basic driver that's very limited. If u get into windows with this basic driver u have solved the problem.

Then reinstall the original video drivers for ur card.

After that:
1. Do a Disk Cleanup
2. Run A Virus Scan

Application hanging  if i scan my system my system is restarting if we dont scan then it is running good  suggest me wht to do

that shows that there is a software problem, the causes of hanging either a virus that infects your computer; a sofware which is not compatible with your computer. try to remember what was the latest software you installed if you can remember try to uninstall this(but make sure you have the back-up) then scan.
