It obviously is related to the pump and outlet hoses.
If it is a tap in waste then check for obstruction there,
Remove drain hose completely and run water though it to make sure it is fully clear.
Check inside the pump itself for any obstruction , if you are satisfied that every thing is o/k, then as a last resort, fit new pump.
Plz leave feedback for this solution.
Thanks.

My washer wont spin,

If you had to empty the water manually, i.e the outlet pump did not drain the water out then I would suggest the pump is either blocked or has failed. This will normally prevent the spin cycle from occurring. Try checking and cleaning the pump filter out.

Asko 6762 does not complete filling with water. It also wont complete spin cycles. The drain pump sometimes runs continually after the tub is empty. Have cleared the coin trap and the hose between the tub...

Sound like it could be some "dirt" in the "air-trap-tube", so the machine dont get the signals that says it's empty. This also can also make problems for filling. This "air-trap" is the plastic tube, mounted upwards on the bellow hose, between drum and pump.

Could also be a pressure switch, or pressure sensor problem, but this is not very common:)

Zanussi z918 washing machine wont empty or spin although the pump seems to work

if the pump seems to work, check outlet hose for blockage/check pump filter as well

Wasing machine fills with water during washing and wont pump out filling the drum...

1. Empty the drum via the filter / trap at the front (there is sometimes a drain pipe near the filter - otherwise be prepared to use lots of towels to soak up the water).
2. Check / clean the filter.
3. Ensure that the drainage pipe is not blocked.
4. Check that the pipe from the pump to the waste water pipe is not kinked / blocked.
5. Check that the pipe from the drum to the pump is not blocked.
6. Does the pump sound like it's trying to work? If not, it could be that the pump is dead. Pumps can often become blocked with fluff / slime from the machine.

Good luck!

My washer has fault 37 and we can smell rubber burning. The drum feels very lose.

On F&P machines the inner tub floats away from the dog clutch allowing the agitator to wash without attachment to the drum. When you empty the machine the inner drum settles back on the dog clutch and can be engaged for spinning. A loose drum when full of water is probably not a fault..
37 error is pump fault. Water level not changing.
The pump may be blocked/jammed and be overheating, or it may have failed.
You'll need to unplug the power supply at the socket.
You'll need to empty the machine.
When the water level is low you can lean the machine back to access the pump motor under the tub. Turning the fan blades can sometimes dislodge the obstruction. If the fan turns freely retry the spin mode to empty the machine..
If the pump is jammed you'll have to remove it and clear the port.
Make sure you've emptied the machine as any water left in it will run out when you remove the pump.
carefully study the pump before removal. Take note of the latch which locks the pump in position. Earth wire to open spade connector. Power wires to pump via plug. Remove and clean. Replace and test.
If the pump still overheats it should be replaced or it will damage other components. The pump resistance should be more that 33ohms..
F&P reccommend pump replacement if less than 33ohms.
Good luck.....Nomess

Says F5 on display, wont empty.

just had F5 blockage warning on hotpoint aqualtis. Removed front panel on the bottom and unscrewed filter, cleaned and replaced. checked all outlet pipe was clear. Laid washing machine on to its back and removed black pipe from pump and checked and finally removed the other end of the pipe that joins to the drum. large ball acts a valve and a missing sock was found in the drum end! replaced all parts and washing machine works a treat! before the f5 warning the machine leaked from the door on a couple of occasions, no problem since and may have been a build up of water finding its only way out.

First try putting the outlet hose in a bowl and see if any water comes out, if it does then you don’t have a blockage but either a jammed or faulty pump. Empty all the water out of the drum by filling the bowl or bucket and to stop the flow of water raise the hose higher than the machine. Continue doing this until the drum is empty. Tilt the machine forward and place a tin of soup or something under it to keep it tilted forward, place a shallow basin or deep tray under the pump to catch any water that will come out (rather than soak your floor) undo the clip holding the hose onto the pump and remove it. You may need to remove the pump but you could find a cotton bud or something in the pump housing that stops it from working or it may be a lose connection on the pump (check that first)
If no water comes out of the hose when you lower it into the bowl then you have a blockage and will need to bail the water out of the drum using a mug or jug. Tilt the machine backwards and you should be able to open the door keep it tilted by putting your tin of soup under it. When it is empty remove the tin of soup and tilt the machine forward, place it under it again and put a bowl or basin under the sump. Remove it from the container and you should be able to pull the filter out at this point but if not remove the other end from the pump and clean the whole thing out in the sink. If there is no evidence of a blockage in the sump filter check the outlet hose especially if it was connected to an under sink U bend.

Water will not empty

Hello
you either have a blockage in the filter or you pump is not working.
how to check is diconnect the waste pipe and lower it to ground level if the water does not empty then its a blockage. if it empties then its the pump.
other things it can be is a blockage where the waste pipe is connected or a loose wire to the pump..

PE235 gets stuck on draining and won't go to spin

what you have is whats called a magnetic pump it should feel jerky to rotate but should be free without locking up, this pump is designed this way to avoid little things getting blocked in it. if the pump is free from blockages and works electrically, then the pump is not a problem, the problem sounds like the motor or the motor control board pcb which is located at the side of the timer (i think on that model) first check the motor carbons for wear, the armature for signs of burning or sparking, then the module for any signs of scorching etc, difficult thing to diagnose without test equipment but you now have somewhere to start from when looking hope i have helped a little
