Question about Apple iPod nano
I want to convert my dvd's to put them on the 8GB ipod nano I bought for my step son for Christmas. I have been able to put his cd's on, but I don't have a program to convert the dvd's to MP4's. What would be the best program? To buy or free? I use Clone DVD and CD at home to backup my disks, are there any made by the same company as they seem to be easy for me to use. Thanks From a Busy Mum...
I personally use a software called handbrake and it is very easy to use and will convert your movies to what ever you like eg;ipod, iphone etc give it a go,it will work

IPod can only accept MP4 Video and H.264 Video. So anyone who wants to put dvd on ipod should convert dvd to iPod playable MP4 and H.264 video. I have been using cucusoft dvd to ipod converter for a long time and It always works well and can support different kinds of DVDs. Download Free DVD to iPod Converter Here ： Step-by-Step guide: Step 0: Install and run Cucusoft DVD to iPod Converter Step 1: Place the DVD into your DVD drive Step 2: Click the ?open DVD? button to load DVD Step 3: Select "Direct mode" or "Batch Mode" "Direct Mode" means that you can directly click the DVD Menu to select the DVD movie you want to rip. This mode is very easy for ripping a movie DVD's. "Batch Mode" means that you can select the DVD titles/chapters and audio track they want to rip via checkbox list. This mode is very easy for batch ripping Music DVD's, MTV DVD's and Episodic DVD's. Step4: Click the ?Convert ?button to start the conversion. You can have a cup of coffee or have a walk. In a quite short time it will finish. Hope it can be helpful.
