I know this response is way late, but it may help someone else down the road. You only have 8 wires on the KE-1818 because it only has wires for left and right speakers, not left-front, left-rear, etc. Orange: Constant 12v
Red: Switched 12v
Black with spade terminal: Ground
Gray: Left +
Gray/red: Left -
Black in the harness: Beats me. Illumination maybe?
Blue: Amp control wire
The wiring diagram for a KE 1033 is exactly the same as the KE 1900, both have only 8 wires coming out of their harness plug. Solution: >Black>Ground>Wire #8 >Red>12 Volt ignition wire> Wire #7 >Green>Speaker Left Front Negative>Wire #6 >Green with Orange Stripe>Speaker Left Front Positve>Wire #5 >Grey>Speaker Right Front Negative>Wire #4 >Grey with Orange Stripe> Right Front Positive>Wire #3 >Orange>12 Volt Battery Wire> Wire #2 >Blue>Power Antenna> Wire #1
No need to guess what wires go where. Buy a wiring harness for your specific year, make and model.
You make connections from your pioneer harness which are all marked, to the Harness you will purchase for your car. They cost about $20 and can be purchased at most autopart stores, or major electronic retailers.
Once you make the connections from the pioneer harness to the harness specific for your car, simply unplug your factory radio and plug in your newly wired one.
If it's been installed with the original DIN mount, there are 2 small flat clips that slide in a small slot on each side of the radio. The 2 pieces of metal are pushed in to release the clips holding the radio in the bracket. Then the radio pulls out
Those clips come with the Pioneer stereo but should be available from a place that sells/installs car audio
