If you are using XP you may have a problem with your default input language.

Control Panel > Regional & language options
Click languages tab and then Details.

Try doing the same thing on a correctly working PC and see if there is any difference.

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

My dell pc key board has swapped the @ key with the 2 how do i fi

Hi,
Might be that @ key is swaped with the : and vice versa.
This happens because of the language settings so go in control pannel and go to the language and regional settings and select the laguage as English US inplace of UK.
If then also the issue is not resolved then u will have to format the machine and while formatting select the English US then only the issue will get resolved.

Acer extensa 5620 laptop cant get the @ button to come up

Sounds like your computer thinks got a foreign keyboard. (e.g. a US keyboard in the UK or vice versa).
On the UK keyboard "@" is two keys to the right of "L" (use shift) on the US keyboard it is on the "2" key.
Try that, if it works then it is just the settings. (Control panel -> locale I think, but you don't say which OS you're using).

Sound in computer is raspy

Distortion usually happens when a sound is amplified too much. The key to solving it is finding out where the amplification is happening.

If you've got your "wave" volume at max, and your "main" volume at minimum (or vice versa), you might experience distortion. Try reducing the higher one, and raising the lower one.
