Just moved in a house and the bathtub spa does not work at all. It has a button connected to an air line for a on and off switch. have tried water at different levels still nothing. Can not get to pump very easy.

Similar problem - mine worked for years and now will not even turn on when the button is pressed

I too have the exact same story. My might differ in that we purchased this house (new to us but built in 1978). I have no idea when the bathroom was remodeled but the tub is an older 4 jet style. Yesterday when I finally got around to looking into what was up with ours I came to discover that they never connected the electrical. Its run via GFCI breaker and all and 99% of the way done. So I figure what next and why not ... connected the electric and WOW Rooooooooooooooooooooooorm ... motor works great. Put some water in and driiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiip driiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiip ... ya well turns out the id10ts that installed it (years ago) broke both flanges behing the 2 jets. Ya the side jets that are away from the bathroom access wall so this evening I'm searching to see if Kohler Flange 67429 can be replaced without access to outside of the tub (as we do like our living room wall).

What I will say for your issue is that when you push the airpressure switch you typically hear a click (even if there is no power connected). This might help you diagnous if you have a vacuum problem. If you hear a click then move onto checking for power. Also I'll note that Kohler tech support is awesome in that they identified my tub model from a picture.

You need to see if there is power to the pump 1st, there may be a switch somewhere thats not been switched on or it may have tripped out so check that. the air pressure switch maybe faulty or the plastic hose may have even come away from the switch.think of the basics 1st then look deeper, if you have power at the pump then it can only be the switch or worse case scenario a new pump.
you might have to remove the bath panel to gain access to the pump better?

kindly

My airflow valve is pouring water out on spa

Water coming out of the air controls is usually caused by the water jets being turned off or blocked making the water go backwards in the spa system.
Open the jet faces and make sure they are all open and not blocked.

Kohler led lighting and jacuzzi motor + jets stopped working but automatic line clearing air still blows when tub is emptied.

Air Switch Repair
It sounds like you have a bad air switch located in your motor.
The air switch is what the air hose connects to on the back of the motor or on the box on top of the motor. The other end of the air hose is connected to the air button on the lip of the tub.
This is a latching air switch and when you push the air button it latches to send power to the motor. When the air button is pushed again it opens the latch in the air switch and stops power going to the motor shutting it off.

The problem you are experiencing tells me that the air switch in the motor most likely the problem.
This is a latching air switch that operates when the button on the side of the tub is pushed.
The replacement TBS-339 air switch is around $21

Jets in whirlpool tub not working

If its on a GFCI circuit reset switch.
Air button activation - check for loose air tube connections or bad air button.
Electronic control - contact a spa technician for diagnostics.

If the error is not electricity to the pump or the button(s) controlling the pump - it is likely a bad pump.

When you depress the air presure butoon on the kohler whirpool tub a clicking sound is heard but the motor does not run. There nis powewr to the receptacle that the pump/motor is connected to.

What you need is a new air switch for the back of the motor. The air tubing connects to it on the motor. that is probably what is clicking when you push the air button on the top of the tub. Once you change that air switch you will be back in HOT WATER !!
Should be a TBS-310 or TBS-301 latching air switch is the one you need. Either of those models will work in a Kohler pump.

Where to buy a Kohler air switch and air button?

Most of the control buttons on a tub are not electrical. These buttons are connected to an air line that runs to the motor. Sometimes an aggressive button push can literally blow the air line right off of the bottom of the button.
This problem is as easy to fix as it sounds. Find the loose air line and push it back onto the button. You will need to open up your access panel. Bring a flashlight.
Be sure to check the connection at the motor too. Good luck

Kohler bathtub spa does not work at all

If the air tube is still connected to the air button on the side of the tub and you are pushing it with no results then either the motor is no good, the air button is no good or the air switch in the box is no good.
process of elimination, start with the pump. take the switch off the motor or out of the box and make sure you can get the motor to come on. If the motor comes on then move to the air switch and hook it back up and see if you can blow into the air switch with a new air button or a straw and see if the switch will activate the pump. if it does then you most likely have a bad air button ($12). If you cannot get it to activate the pump then the air switch is bad ($21).
