Bought this wireless two days ago first nite worked fantastic and then turned it off when i went to bed. The next morning i turned it on and its not finding any internet connection through my cable modem. The only lights that come on are the power button and all four LAN lights. It wont even work when i try to use it as a wired LAN. Please help. I know its not the modem or the computer as i tried my friends which worked fine. I have tried the master reset to no resolve.
I will be happy with any help at all.

This is because the router has gone bad. turn off your router first and unplug all the cables connected to it.Then contact your Netgear and get your router replaced if you have the warranty period.
If your is working, then you can connect wn311b with it ,you just need to install CD which you got along with netgear adapter and follow instruction it will detect netgear name(SSID) automaticaly and (if it is secure )asked you for network key ,,,,,typed key and you would be able to connect wireless
Netgears are NOTORIOUS for this. If a hard reset didn't fix it, the one where you hold the red button down for like 30 seconds then it is gone. I have replaced SO MANY of these. The first thing that went on them was the wireless and they did have tons of complaints on this at one time as well.
Get a Linksys rounter, I have hardly EVER had any problems with them and they are now owned by Cisco, even better.
Have you check the new firmaware update for your Netgear? ..pls do so first before proceeding to the next step provided below.
Next approach is to unistall and reinstall you 'reciever' to avoid any conflicts and isolate the issue. If that step is still a no go we might as well reset your netgear router to its factory settings and then lets start from there. It should work as your router has fanstastic features that supports 26bit encryption.
mairelina, if all was well 2 days ago then resetting the router should fix your problem. usually a small button on the back of the router.
chelliepooh, you need to check that the router's wireless function is on. connect using the ethernet and go to the config page (usually 192.168.1.1) make sure wireless is on and security is set to wpa-psk.
