Plug mp3 player into computer
Connect to Rhapsody, Napster or whichever music service you have
Sync device through that music service
If your subscription has lapsed, you will have to renew it (or get a free service like Limewire that doesn't force you to sync every so often)

"A HI SPEED USB device plugged into a non HI SPEED USB hub" error message, any idea? every time i plug a usb in to my computer it comes up that this device can perfom faster on a hi-speed usb port

This is not an error it just means that you are plugging in a usb 2.0 device into a usb 1.0 port. The devise will still function normally just not as fast. You could always add a usb 2.0 pci card to your computer.

Downloading music from internet to an MP3 player

I guess Sanyo means that have an input jack (line in or aux) where you can connect your mp3 player (after you've downloaded music into it), then hear it on your hi-fi.

Just make sure you connect either the line out or the earphone jack from your mp3 player to the aux or line-in on your hi-fi, then set the hi-fi to play aux or line-in.
