Hi, and welcome to FixYa!
I've been doing some research on your problem of not being able to receive MMS messages (pictures) on your phone. There are a couple of reasons why you may not be able to. I'll list them in order:
1) Your cellular provider may not have MMS activated for your phone. Contact your provider and ask if MMS is enabled on your line.
a) If they tell you, no - it is not currently enabled, then ask them to enable it for you.
b) If they tell you, yes - it is currently enabled, ask to speak to someone in Tech Support. Inform Tech Support that you are not receiving MMS messages but instead, an 'Unknown Subscriber' message although you have MMS currently activated on your line. Most Tech Support Departments can send a 'packet' to your phone that you will simply click on when you receive it - and download it on your phone. That should solve the problem.
There is one more problem I discovered. If the picture you are sent is too large for your phone's screen to display you might also receive this, 'Unknown Subscriber' message.
Regardless, your first call should be to your cellular provider to ask assistance with your MMS settings.
I hope this information will help you.
