Emjoi Head AP98R

Hallo, have a problem with emjoi epilator Head. Build in 2007.
Just droped the warantz (only 12 months!)
Jused it only a few times. Now i recon the problem. It´s the grooves on the sidewheels (Epilator-Haed) they are broken. So the whole epilator is now broken.
For a 140 AUD dollar mashine is redicolous.
Because should be made out of metall ! Seems to be a production fault!
The question is where can i get a Head of the AP98R or a part head, only the frame with the side wheels?
Or can i repair only the side wheels?
Where and how much is it?
Thank you to all who answer the questions....
Do someone also have this probs?

Emjoi light caress epilator jammed

The major reason that epilator shavers stop working is because of hair that is caught inside the machine. If you have taken the top off and cleaned it out thoroughly using the brush, then this likely isn't the cause.
Is it still under warranty? if so, i suggest that you contact the manufacturer and ask where you can send it for fixing. if your warranty has run out, you can still ask the manufacturer for a list of approved repair shops.

Stopped working battery change didnt help

Is your epilady still under warranty? If so, it's probably best to get the manufacturer to fix it. but even if it's not, you can still contact the manufacturer and ask them to recommend someone reliable in your area to take a look at it.

Are there any techniques you can recommend for shaving under my arms?

1. First tip is to lift your arm straight above your head as this pulls the skin tight and helps you reach difficult hairs that might be hiding.

2. Shave your arms in up, down and sideways motions for the smoothest results.

3. Finish by rinsing with cold water and this will close your pores.

I have a unibrow ie my eyebrows dont really separate in the middle. What can I do about it?

Tweezers are a good way of shaping and getting eyebrows under control, but if you have a uni-brow then you will need a more long term solution otherwise you could end up plucking your eyebrows every day!

Look into laser treatments or electrolysis for a more long lasting solution.

I am a guy but I want to remove the hair on my back before my pool holiday next month. What method do you recommend?

Hair removal on large areas can be quite a big undertaking. Make sure you know what's involved and how quickly it will grow back etc before you commit. Shaving hair is a cheap and good option but not for areas such as the back which are hard to reach by yourself and very large in area to cover with a razor.

Most men opt for waxing when they want to smooth out their chests and back. Waxing is painful but very effective, but within a couple of weeks you will get re-growth.

Is tweezing a good option for removing hair at home?

; that really depends which part of your body you were trying to remove hair from! Tweezing is a great option for eyebrows. It's similar to waxing in that it pulls the hair out from the root.

It's really painful and you should dab some antiseptic on the skin before you start.

But it's very time consuming, so it's a good option for eyebrows and occasional stray hairs but I wouldn't recommend it for larger areas that need hair removal.

Does it matter what kind of razor I buy for shaving my legs? I tend to buy really cheap ones but keep getting red bumps on my legs. Is the razor the cause?

Cheap disposable razors tend to be straight and single bladed. I would really spend the money on a better quality razor that has multiple blades and a pivoting head. You can get specific women's razors and the good quality ones should last quite a while. This might make a big difference to you in cutting back on sores and red bumps.

What are ingrown hairs? I have a few really sore pimple type spots on my legs and they are really sore. Is this from shaving my legs?

Shaving can cause ingrowing hairs. This happens when the hair that is cut curls back and grows inwards. It shows up as pimples or bumps and can look red and inflamed. If it's a constant problem or gets infected, you may need to get advice from a dermatologist.
