Question about Boston Acoustics TVee Model Two TV Speakers
I have a brand new Boston Acoustics Tvee sound bar and subwoofer. It worked fine for one day. The second day, I went to turn it on, no sound. Fooled around with it, and was able to manually adjust volume and had sound. I then attempted to program the remote and when I wasnt able to program it, I gave up and then went to adjust sound manually again. It then would not play sound, nor let me adjust volume. Green lights are on both subwoofer and sound bar, so power is good. Audio cables are in correctly. I have tried everything. No sound! Please help.
For Jameslicon re wireless sub going on and off repeatedly. Both the soundbar and the sub have 4 wireless channels - try a different pairing of those channels. There is a sliding switch on the back of both units. I set each of mine to channel 4 and the problem went away. There is also a signal level switch with 3 levels on the back of the soundbar. If the wireless channel idea does not work, try a different setting on the level switch. Good luck.

Return it. A loud pop when watching TV ( or movies) burns up something inside. The unit will then get a red light and nothing will ever turn back on. Faulty unit. I went through 4 of them before i got me a Samsung:)

It could be that the unit is bad, it could also be that the device providing the input is bad. I doubt the cables are bad, but that could be also. Could it be possible that your television has a menu setting that turns the outputs off and on?
Even without the sub, you still get sound through the Bar.
Only way to test it is, different cables, alternate device to provide input for sound.

Distorted sound from the Soundbar.
Change the Trim Level switch setting to a higher number.
Check the signal source to be sure the distortion is not originating there. <<<<<<<<<
The woofer seems to have interference with its wireless signal.
Try changing settings of the Wireless ID switches on both the soundbar and bass unit. <<<<<<<<
The bass unit could be too far from the soundbar to get a good signal. Try moving it closer.
What is the source device that results in static? How is it connected?
