Question about Philips Magnavox 51MP392H Rear Projection Television
I just bought a Samsung HCN2446W Projection 42" HDTV that was built in 2004. I bought it used for $200, today so it's 4 yrs.-old. It looked fine in the prevous owner's home, however once at MY house it has this yellowish-green tint all over the screen, particularly darkening at the corners. The picture is also pale. That's the only way I can describe it! I adjusted the color, tint, custom, focus...you name it, I tried adjusting it. What happened?
That model should be HCN4226W, right? Because the other don't come-up. Sounds like the mirror may have moved. It's mounted on the upper part of the back of the T.V. Should be flat against the back. Check that. Then see if all 3 tubes are lighting up. Also possable the fluid leaked out.....but not likely. These sets are fairly robust. Do you remember jarring it in the drive home?? Did you have it laying down when you moved it?
