Question about HP Pavilion dv6000t 15.4" Notebook Laptop PC PC Notebook
I closed my computer last night, as normal, went to pull out my charger cable and as i did so my laptop shut down automatically, like it was out of batter. This afternoon, when i tried to fire it up, the screen stays blank and i can't do anything to get it to turn on. The laptop itself seems to work, but the screen doesn't change no matter what i do.
I had this exact problem with a customers computer andi found out that HP put faulty motherboards in the DV6000, DV9000, Compaq V6000 Series Computers. Thankfully HP fixing all computers for free and extending the warranty even if the warranty has expired they will ship you a box and you ship it off and they fix it at no cost. the turn around period is about 7 days.
Here is a link to an article that talks about it
Hope this helps!
