Question about Pioneer DEH-P680MP CD Player
The cd player was cutting in and out for a couple days and then it just completely stopped working, it doesn't turn on or anything. I checked the fuse and it was fine. Is there anything else i can do?
unhook black wire from harness and the ground from pioneer unit install the ground wire from pioneer unit to frame of car (you may need extra wire to do this) make sure the black wire from pioneer unit is bolted to frame of car not to the harness black wire........fuses will no longer blow and you will have your lights.
hope this helped

If the speakers are working already, you will have to connect the red wire from the stereo to the yellow wire for the iginition. Black to black for ground, and yellow from the stereo to orange in the vehicle wiring. If you are using a test light, the orange should be constant +12 volts, yellow will have switched +12 volts. This will turn off the stereo with the key.
Please be sure to give a rating. thank you.

Hi:) Sound like the pre-amplifier transistors are burnt out if you hear no sound at all. If you can hear a very fate sound then it would be the Output amplifier IC's. If you are using a separate output amp check the amp.
