I have an Olsen furnace. It's not running and there is a red light blinking. What's wrong?

Count the blinks in between pauses. On the door of the furnace will be a legend that tells you what that number of blinks mean. For instance 3 blinks may mean open limit switch or pressure switch failed to close, something like that. Post here what it tells you then we can help.

HK42FZ034 status code light blinks in pattern

Located on the schematic on the inside of the furnace door should be a key for the blink sequence. 2 short blinks then 4 long ones would be a code 24 on that data plate

My burner goes on but shuts off early and blows cold air. it is a goodman furnace. where should i start to solve this problem. i just had furnace cleaned and flame sensor cleaned. should i buy a new flame...

First when it goes out again, locate the furnace and look thru a small viewing port to see if there is a light blinking, count the number of blinks. Then look at the wiring diagram for a diagnostic code chart. This will give you a strart of where to look.

Glow light blinks once

One thing to try is to check the voltage coming to the furnace to see if it is correct. They do have separate furnaces for California because of the NOX compliable laws but the boards according to my vendor are all the same. Look on the new board to see if you see any of these numbers # PCBBF112S or 01030F00005S. If you do have one of these numbers it is the correct board. If not change the board or if voltage is wrong get that corrected and you should be fine

Put new thermostat on but now furnace still doesnt run

Did you reset the furnace at breaker? If so what did it do? Did it give you a blinking led code? If so what does the code mean on your legend on furnace door?

Blinking symbol

Look for a reset selection on the thermostat. The Filter warning is probably programmed to come up on 90 day intervals.
