Let the battery go out and then switch on after a couple of minutes of charging. Maybe it'll work.

hi there, try moving the lock switch to the lock position and then to the unlock position, and then hold the menu and center button at the same time, this is called a reset and should fix the problem.

Screen frozen in on position cannot turn off or transfer

Hello,

Thanks for using FixYa.

What you can do is to just let the battery die out so the device would reboot itself after you charge it.

I hope this helps. Thanks and have a good day.

Hold the power "button" up (in the turn on position) for 15 seconds. This resets it. It worked for me anyway.

Phillips gogear is frozen

Press and hold the Power On/Off key and the Volume + key for a couple of seconds to reset

If that alone fails, run a Repair in the Philips Device Manager

My recorder/plaer is frozen in the on position,

Ensure the key lock is not activated by sliding
"Power on/off ( )/Hold" towards the center
position. If your player isn’t already on, turn it on by
sliding "Power on/off ( )/Hold" to the left
and holding until the player turns on.

If this does not work, reset the player by removing/reinserting the battery.

Try holding the [POWER] button for about 25secs. and it will turn off. It should work after that. :)

Frozen

Mine froze in play position, but no sound.

Here's what worked for me. Mine is the Sansa M250

1)Plugged the player into the PC and removed all the MP3s

2)Downloaded update program from Sansa link below

http://www.sandisk.com/Retail/Default.aspx?CatID=1376

3) Install the program

4) Plug the Sansa into your PC.

5) Program automatically starts and allows you to check for software update. Do so and let the program update your player.

Fixed my freeze problem. Player working perfectly now.
Hope this helps.
