Need new gun and connection to gun

The part that connects to the gun is broken.  It leaks.  How do I get the part to buy? Where do I find a web page that sells the parts?

The DuraBuilt and Coleman pressure washers have a gun that tends to leak through the plastic clyinder wall that holds the plunger that moves with the trigger. You won't see the holes, but if you remove the upper half of the housing, hold the plastic tubes in place with one hand and turn on the water, not the motor, you will see water shooting through the wall.

Amazon sells an exact replacement gun and hose. FAIP PowerWasher Replacement Gun and Hose #80012. Mine does not leak at all and was $29 shipped.

Need to fix the trigger of a nail gun

Hi Nola:
Sounds like a project.
- WORK SAFE - Disconnect from air supply.
- Clean the tool
- Dis-assemble - Be organized - lay out the parts in sequence on an old towel or on your work bench. Clean each part as you go.
- Repair or replace broken part
- Check all other parts for wear or damage.
- Re-assemble - lubricate and check functions as you proceed.
- Connect to air
- Conduct powered function and safety check.
If it works, - GREAT
If it does not work, either do it over again
Or, go buy another gun.
Old guys like me with lots of time love to tinker with problem tools just to get them working right.
Others who are in "production" just buy the new tool.
Cheers.

Sns 41 as soon as i connect air hose, driver goes down and air comes out exhaust

May need cylinder seal # bc0438. When this seal fits loose or is cracked, air will leak past and push piston down to bottom of the cylinder. If the seal fits snuggly and looks in good order, suspect headvalve orings and cylinder spacer orings leaking. Order oring kit and seal. Use silicone paste lube on all the orings. Look carefully at the surfaces where orings make contact and remove scratches with 300 grit sandpaper(fine scratches will allow air to leak past new orings). To make the gun work with poor fitting orings. Clean inside of gun with diesel and apply plenty of silicone paste to orings (using same orings if not cut or broken). If gun works as normal, the silicone paste is temporarly sealing the orings. It may continue to work for a while untill you get new parts. Good luck with repair.

Water leak where the gun hose connects to the washer causing very low pressure 2200 psi model 020245

Simple fix, just disconnect house end from washer, buy a new rubber washer o ring, like what is used for garden hoses. Put back on make sure it is tight. If still leaks, then need to replace connection end fitting on preside washer, can get those at almost any hardware store, use plumbers tape on threads when putting new fitting on machine, then connect house and back to those honey do list :)

I got air leaking out the barrel where the nail shoots from.

Without model number I cannot be more exact, however, air leaking from nose as soon as you connect the airline indicates that the cylinder spacer orings are leaking. The cylinder is usually sealed by a plastic or metal ring with an oring at the outer edge and seals against an oring installed at the cylinder. Broken oring or grit entering the gun will cause the orings to leak. A quantity of air leaking from the nose when you fire a nail indicates that the lower bumper is cracked or missing pieces. Air leaking from nose with driver being pushed to bottom of cylinder when you connect the airline indicates that the cylinder seal at top of cylinder is leaking. Parts are available at www.toolpartsdirect.com Good luck with your repair and post again with model number if you need more help.

I have the 2 1/2 Hitachi for nailing siding. The nail gun had not been used for a couple of years, but now will only drive the nail half way in. Sounds like an air leak when driving the nail. I have...

Remove the nails and air supply. With side door open notice position of driver. Driver should be at top position with tip not visible. If driver is down and it moves within cylinder when you tilt nose up then down again, time to replace orings. If driver is down, it should extend past the nose about 1/4 inch (if driver is broken at the tip the end will look rough and nail will not drive in all the way). If driver extends past the nose more than 1/4 inch then lower bumper may be breaking up /cracked. Easy test for proper function. With nails removed and side door open, connect air to gun and dry fire gun against hard rubber or old coiled air-hose (with air connected and trigger depressed, no air should leak from trigger area, if air leaks when trigger is depressed, look for fault at trigger pin). Feeder should move back then forward in quick motion almost matching speed of driver and driver should not creep down between shots. No air should leak from nose of the gun (push nose against hard rubber and depress trigger and hold in this position, driver should stay down with very little or no air leaking out of nose, when you release trigger, driver will return). If air leaks out of nose while holding in this position, replace lower bumper. If a quantity of air leaks from valve in front of trigger, cylinder orings may need replacing or outer part of cylinder has fine scratches (remove scratches with 400 grit paper). Parts are available at www.toolpartsdirect.com. Good lucki

NRA833AA model. air is leaking out of trigger valve & will not fire. require manual to check operation.

Here is a link to hitachi web site listing for your gun. Look at the bottom of the page for pdf files of parts lists and manual.
http://www.hitachipowertools.com/store_item.php?iID=154&arrPath=1,9,43,p154,

There are two areas around trigger that can leak air. Spray soapy water on trigger stem and/or plunger valve. If leak is at trigger stem check vinyl ball. If leak is at plunger valve, most likely worn or broken oring inside of gun. Remove head and pull outer ring to reveal two orings. A worn outer oring will cause leak at plunger. If orings are ok on outer ring, pull cylinder and check for scratches where orings contact. If scratched, sand with 400 grit paper untill smooth and repack gun with oring kit. Good luck.
