Any way to reset Lamp timer for Panasonic PT-AE700U
We recently replaced the lamp for our Panasonic PT-AE700U
We forgot to reset the timer through the on screen menu as instructed.
Now, after 3 weeks of use, the projector refuses to boot up.
We suspect the projector didn't know we have replaced the lamp.
Now, is there a way to re-set the lamp hours without going through the on-screen manu --- as the projector no longer boot up, on-screen menu is not accesible.

There should be a menu that goes across the top listing video, audio, setup, projection....etc. Either under setup or advanced there will be a drop down menu with lamp settings under it. Under that menu will be a reset lamp or something as direct as lamp hours. That is where you can reset the lamp timer.
I have a Panasonic PT-AE4000U and could not reset the timer after replacing the bulb with a, non-Panasonic branded bulb. Calls to tech support were not very helpful. It was another bad customer service experience. Through troubleshooting it myself, I discovered the solution was simply to unplug EVERYTHING (serial cable, hdmi cables, etc.) from the device, power it off and back on. Follow the procedure in the manual, the timer immediately reset!!
your color calibration may be off. see if you can set the red green and blue settings all to "0" and see if that works. may want to refer to your manual and see how you can do that and also see if there is a auto calibration
