Hi Mr."G."! I'm really tired of writing the same thing over and over!!!

Hello Pamela
I've the user manual for your RCA TV in my system's manaul library. But it is in PDF format having 4.25MB in capcity and contains 48 pages in PDF format. I can't send it to you by this window, as it does not allow me to upload PDF files by it. If you want to get a copy of it, you have to purchase one amoung my RCA services published at Fixya site. If you do so, I can send a copy of it to you by the link that Fixya provides between you and me. OK.

WISH YOU A HAPPY AND PROSPEROUS 2012.

http://www.retrevo.com/support/RCA-HD52W58-TVs-manual/id/402ci453/t/2/ Above is your user manual. www.electro-tech-online.com/.../36401d1261034747-rca-32-television-32v434t-need-help-repairing-atc010_training_manual-1-.pdf Above and below aew training manuals, these show you how they work, and how to isolate issues. www.scribd.com/.../RCA-Chassis-CTC203-TV-Trainning-Manual
It sounds like your "Mixer" has faulted, however what has "Caused" that, may be one of many things. This unit must have troubleshooting procedures to isolate the issue.
it is my professional opinion though that everyone should take their units to their manufacturers, RCA in your case, approved service center, contacting a local or head office, of your unit & getting an approved service center is just SO important, even worth the extra to ship it, you see, at those places, the Engineers, are trained on the equipment you have, they usually have parts on hand, and do the job quicker. Anyway do that and get a "Quote". This way, at least, you'll know weather to repair or replace

This set was made before it was required to have digital tuning built in. You would need a digital converter box if you want off-the-air reception. (The federal program at www.dtv2009.gov that is giving $40 coupons toward purchasing a converter is out of money right now and is only putting people on a waiting list. It also looks like the changeover to digital is going to be delayed again, so you might not need to worry about it for a while longer.)

I recently acquired my grandmothers tv = an 2004 model RCA #27F350T and wondering if it is digitally ready for Feb. 19 - we are currently using an outdoor antenna with a booster.

I could not find a "RCA model #27F350T", but there is a RCA model 27F530T, and according to the users manual for that TV, it is not Digital ready. You will need a converter box if you wish to continue receiving antenna based broadcasts. Your users manual can be found at the following link.

Powers on. green light flashes then turns back off.

For troubleshooting your lamp, use the following lamp troubleshooting wizard here:

http://www.fixyourdlp.com/wizard/launch-window.html

If it turns out you need a lamp, you can follow the simple instructions available here for just about any make and model, including your RCA. The RCA website is useless and they never have parts in stock.

could be a bad solder connection or maybe the CRT socket has come off slightly. I lean more to a bad solder connection at the flyback area screen G2
