Question about i-mate JAMin Smartphone
I'm now using my third Imate JAMin. it's a wonderful tool when on the move. For some reason for the third time and on my third phone I can only hear and make calls with the hands-free plugged in. The first was replaced still under guarantee, so was the second and now this one has developed the same problem. The agents say that they don't know what causes this. I suspect that by my constant use of the hands-free, while driving and working, this has damaged the springs inside the hands-free plug-in jack. Should there be anyone who has had the same problem please, HELP! Should anyone know what is the solution to this problem please assist me. Where can parts for this phone be bought?
Hi Nalik, i got tired of running back and forth to the company that supplied me this phone so last week i decided to strip it myself and try my luck. Bare in mind mine is still under guarrantee but who cares I've had it. I found that the contacts inside the phone, where the headphone jackl attaches had dislodged as I suspected. I repositioned them so that they contacted and thank God i've now got sound from it. So should you have the guts to lose your guarrantee, go ahead strip it yourself. good luck. Thank you FIX-YA, good site you got.
