Question about Dell Latitude D600 Notebook
You need to go to this website and download all the driversfor your laptop as needed. These are only for the Dell laptopD600! I would concentrate mostly on the "Chipset" drivers. that should re-enable the board's Microphone input jack.

The flickering may not be caused by a corrupt driver, it could be the impending failure of the fluorescent back light of the display or its high voltage supply.
Trying driver replacement though is the first thing to try.
If the original driver is corrupt, you can try the following;
- Right-click on My Computer
- Left-click on Properties
- Click on Hardware tab
- Click on Device Manager
- Locate and open Display Adaptors
- Locate the video listing for your
- Highlight and delete this
- Reboot the computer
If Windows does what it should (no guarantee on this!), it will 'find' a 'new device' and install the driver for it.
