After recharging the camera, the screen is now frozen. How do I restart the camera? None of the buttons work.

- Thanks for trying. I tried this and it didn't work. I think I may have already pressed the buttons too hard and frozen the camera. After telling them I'd tried the pin trick twice, they asked for me to send them the serial # and problem. I'm still waiting to hear back from them as to whether they'll replace my camera.
-   I also have frozen my camera up. What do I do? It is just sitting there, unable to move...pressing the red button won't do anything! Help!

I had the same problem when it was brand new straight out of the box. Below is Pure Digital's (manufacturer of the Mino HD) response. This did solved my problem.
"Please ensure that you are gently touching the operational buttons on the camcorder rather than pressing them. Pressing too hard, or too rapidly in succession while waiting for a response, can desensitize the touch pad, requiring a reset of the camcorder.
If you find that the Mino has already frozen, we suggest resetting the camcorder.
To reset, simply take a pin and insert it into the reset hole within the camera’s tripod mount, wait five seconds before powering on, and then power on without touching any of the buttons on the back of the camcorder for an additional five seconds.
Please note that resetting the camcorder in this manner will not affect the videos resident on the camcorder; it will simply reset the screen and button sensitivity on the Mino.
Thank you, Flip Video Support"
I hope this helps.
BTW my Mino HD has frozen twice now (I've had it for 2 hours total so far!) and the reset trick has fixed it both times. It seems to me the buttons are too sensitive or the computer program not the most stable. I hope this is the last of the problems!

I plug my Flip HD camcorder into my computer and nothing pops up on the screen so that I can install the software. I can't figure out how to install it because the instruction video says it will automatically show. I know it's plugged in because I can see on the flip screen that it's recharging but nothing appears on the computer screen

I have had the same probelm since day one as well. It seems to constantly freeze during recording and playback. If it is sensitivity, there should be a way to change it. Resetting the camcorder doesn't seem to be a true fix to me. Sounds like a software issue more than anything else since so many users are experiencing the same issue. Any other possible solutions?
I have the same problem except that it froze right out of the box while being used for the first time. I tuned it on and set the time and date then started to record and it froze. It's on but none of the buttons work.
