Question about Nespresso Aeroccino Automatic Milk Frother

Aeroccino maker will not go on - think button does not connect on

No light on the button.  no frothing inside - only 1 yr old.

    I would really like the address of where to send the milk frother for a free repair since it only worked for a year before breaking. For a $90.00 appliance. I think this is only fair.

1. left the aeroccino on its base (plugged in) constantly.
2. poured milk into aeroccino while on base, do not start, wait for at least 20 - 30 secs for the thermostat to adapt.
3. in the meantime work on brewing the coffee.
4. again, wait for at least 20 - 30 secs, then press the aeroccino button.

Check the condition of the power cable, if the unit is still covered by warranty contact dealer or Nespresso for repair service.

If you are outside of warranty already, you may want to take the maker apart, check if there is a fuse, inspect the wires and see if the button is broken.

This definitely requires a internal inspection and if you don't want to take it apart yourself I would recommend you contact a repair man, there is a repair service locator on the right side of this pag ->>>

Aeroccino frother won't turn back on after we get some froth and still more milk in container.. takes a long time to be able to activate again.. using Almond milk could be the problem any suggeest


My Nespresso Aeroccino often would not heat or froth multiple times after one use. I called Nespresso, they have excellent customer service, and was told to rise the inside (careful not to get the outside button or electric elements wet) of the Aeroccino with cold water a few times and to retry. Works like a charm!
The customer service is the best I have encountered in a long while, give them a call, it will make your day they are so pleasant and helpful!

My nespresso machine won't froth the milk


Brand of milk definitely matters... Here in Canada I used Sealtest 1% when I first used it and the froth was thick light and luxurious. Then one week picked up Neilsen 1% and found it produced absolutely ZERO froth. Back to Sealtest...back to froth. Milk brand matters....but don't know why.

Have you changed the type of milk? Full fat is best but it should work with semi skimmed.

The frother doesn't froth. I start with cold milk fill it to the hot froth line and push. The red circle lights up and whirls around, but when it stops there is no froth


I have tried tilting mine slightly, just a 20c peice under one edge of the base put enough of a lean on it to make the milk froth. Shouldn't have to do this, I know. I am having similar issues becasue I don't think I should have to alter the unit. Mine is 2 weeks old.

How do I make cold froth on my aeroccino for my lattes?


Press the and hold the button for 5sec or longer until the light turns blue. That will get you cold froth.

Aeroccino deosn't make froth


Our aeroccino worked fine for 2 years and suddenly it didn't made foam anymore. We tried the "inverting trick" without much success. We contacted Nespresso and they suggested switching from regular fresh milk (we used 2%) to UHT milk (harder to find in US) and to use it cold and freshly opened. So we tried that and it works.

Aeroccino Overflows


As a Nespresso demonstrator I've had this question many times- use the black plastic wand for light foam- can use to max line. Using the wire whisk wand for heavy, cappacino foam and fill only to bottom line. This wand uses more aeration to achieve foam density- causing more pressure and your leaks. The wand stored inside the lid doesn't have anything to do with function of the aerrocino.

Aeroccino does not heat


Try descaling, if the element is covered with scale it wont produce enough heat and pressure.

The machine is Krups, and therefore should be covered with one year warranty. Call the number listed on the user manual, or find contact from websites below:
