Our RCA TV Model # R52W474 (about which I can find nothing at all!) is about 2.5 years old. It has worked like a charm - and did up til about an hour ago. It was...fine, great - then it went blank for...maybe a few seconds, a bit longer. When it came back on, we had the whole R-G-B color lines at the top, the picture is concave (both of which are more prominent when you first turn it on). While those seem to improve slightly, the whole picture is...blurred. It reminds me of very poor 3-D effects.
I looked thru several solutions here, but was unable to find 'my' TV on here, and am loathe to just...try them without being certain they are appropriate for this particular set. I looked thru the Setup on the TV, but there is no 'Convergence' on it that might be adjusted. (Which is the problem if I understand the answers for other, similar, models.) In Setup it's just 'Picture, Advanced Picture' and other such things.
We...really (really!!!) don't have the money to pay someone to fix this, with my terminally ill with cancer mother. Could someone please tell me if 'we' can fix it...or to have it fixed cheap is possible?

Re: 3 lines (R,G,B), Picture is Conave and 3-D
The problem with your set is bad connections on the flyback transformer and a blown fuse right beside the flyback. If you double check the model number, you will probably see that it is a R52WH74. It is an relatively easy repair, but if you have no experience, it may be best to find a qualified tech. Please rate my solution and let me know if I can be of further assistance.
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

sounds like the sceen is dead, if you are receiving nothing on screen, then it sounds like either a component and/or screen is gone... however, check the tv input to make sure it wasnt acidentally switched to an input channel with nothing selected... if that does not work, call local tv repair or mfg customer service tech. if under warranty, have repaired or replaced. without physically seeing tv, it is hard to diagnose issue outside of information given. could be simple board replacement or could be screen.. but check input first, if a dvd player plays, then it could be just component or input on wrong selection
cristal and IC to be replaced and solderings on all grounds in the tuner unit. maybe costly for a tv of that age, for the fine lines there are 2 ajustements on the back of the tv set, one is focus and the other one is sceen, that ajustement is too high , just turn the ajustement counterclockwise. the tv will become darker
Sounds like the power supply has a bad capacitor. This problem can inject excessive 60 hz from the AC line into the vertical stabilizing picture system. The hum also my come from the same reason, bad or leaking filter capacitors. Cheaper just to buy a new TV or borrow another TV and connected to your system to see if the problem still occurs.
it is due to loose contact near
1 anrena or cable socket.
2 cable wire loose.
3 loose contact near tuner.
4 tuner b+ line or agc line loose.
5 horihontal hold tunning is not proper.or control loose.
hope this will help.

The model you listed, F27650 uses the new ATC113 series chassis, which is only about 3 years old. The ATC113 chassis is not known to have snowy issues, but if yours is then I would suspect that a solder joint is loose in the tuner. If your set is actually around 9 years old, then it might perhaps have the notorious CTC175 - CTC187 series chassis, which went snowy all the time due to cracked solder joints on the shield grounds around the tuner and microprocessor. In either case, some good quality resoldering should cure your trouble. If you have never done fine solder work on PC boards with small surface-mount parts, allow a qualified tech to handle it for you.
